What are you writing to SANTA CLAUS for this year. For years on end all i got at XMAS where the MOST MINTY MINT SUPERB RARE RECORD OR CD that i could wish for.I never knew actually what i was getting so the surprise on XMAS DAY was brilliant. That is when i had a family and wife so these days it ain't quite the same. But what are you lot hoping for in the NEW ORDER/JOY DIVISION stakes.Maybe the JOy DIVISION BOXSET,12 INCHES OF NEWORDER or the FACTORY BENELUX set of THE PERFECT KISS ...2 7 inch singles with all four pictures of the band?Whatever you want get your folks to buy them early.Remember XMAS is a time for RECEIVING so get your letters posted to SANTA sharpish. This year i want the TOUCHED BY THE HAND OF GOD WIG and the BARNEY HAMPER!What do you want? :D

Seeing as my NO collection disappeared when my CD collection was stolen a few years ago, I would like a CDR with all their albums on it - and then I woke up and there were all these pigs hovering outside my window. Besides that I wouldn't mind an Xbox or a new bodyboard and wetsuit. With my huge family of in-laws over here we do the Kris Kringle thing - ie put everyone's name in a hat and you draw one person to buy a present for (under $40) - works out quite well and saves a shitload of money not having to buy everyone a present. Actually I hate the whole Xmas period - can't go anywhere to avoid jingles, decorations, crap etc

Jan, you should've let me know mate - I'll sort you out for what your missing, I owe you one for Shuglet's vid months ago. And Mick - maybe drop me a line so we don't double up on what we send Dubstar here, it's easier for me coz he works just down the road from me (sorta). Email me at glaucodon72@hotmail.com if you like, either of you. Particularly if either of you have Montreaux 93 mixer on cd-r :evil4: CTB :bear:

I would just like a live recording that I've never heard before - there are some out there, so if anyone has

* 21/11/86 Chicago Aragon Ballroom * Cambridge University 85/86 ;) * 30/06/83 Chicago Metro (what is it with Chicago gigs ?) * full Santa Monica 85 set (not just the first seven like everyone has) * full Jones Beach 87 set (not just the same last few like everyone has)

Then go ahead and make my Christmas !

I'd like to see NO live for the first time in my life. Not neccesairly on Christmas day, as I have a family dinner, but within the next year or so.

And it's not Santa Claus it's Baby Jesus and the Angels.

Isn't there a cracking Chicago '85 mixing desk tape in circulation that underlines the perversity of these absences? Seem to remember it from my borderline-obsessive bootleg collecting days (though, of course, that 'obsession' has been thrown into relief by the completist loons round these parts!)

Yes, the 85 show is rather good. Longest ever 11-song set as well - the whole show is 86 mins and 13 tracks, and they were on for 75 mins as the main set. Had to edit the crowd noise at encore time just to get it on a tape, and it's a 2CD job now !

in light of above and sympathy with Dub's plight, I may be able to assist in the passing on of materials. Mail me Mister Rocket & I'll see how I can dingalongdingdong.

Ordered a Sony Net MD recorder. Nice. Although more out of necessity than choice, as my current (non-Net) one went tits up & I've been told it'll cost €100+ to fix. And it's really pissing me off not being able to listen to my Barney Sumner compilation MD.

A chance to finally see New Order live would be nice too. I've had to "make do" with live DVD's last xmas & the one before.
