I don't believe it. After the hold-up with my copying CDs for people because I had bought a batch of faulty CDs (from PC World), the new batch I have bought elsewhere and had delivered are also faulty. Can anyone recommend a reputable CD supplier that has good quality CDs at a decent price ? In the meantime, the current production job will be on some Philips CDR-Q audio disks. Hope these are OK !

Shit. I bought a spindle of 50 Imation CD-R's from Argos last weekend for £13.99, any idea if those are safe? Before that I bought 30 (for the price of 20) Packard Bell in cases from PC World for £12.50. Seem to have worked OK (at least, I haven't had any complaints yet....).

I can buy 3 TDK silver media 80 min for 1 pound.

I've only ever had the one Packard Bell one go wrong. Don't trust PC Line though - absolute shite. First batch was recordable on both sides - once recorded on you could wipe a hole straight through with your finger!

When it rains, it pours means that once something happens after a long pause, it happens in large amounts. Example: "It looks like everyone in our department is sick again, and all at the same time." Reply: "When it rains, it pours."

When there is a lot of rain all at once we say that it is pouring. Some people say, It never rains, but it pours; the meaning is the same as When it rains, it pours. Example: "Sometimes we have no customers for two or three hours, then suddenly we get 20 people all at once." Reply: "It never rains, but it pours."
