Would New Order sound better or worse if Gillian had gotten behind the mike as co-vocalist? Some nice male-female harmony (like in the Pixies, for example) would sound quite good, I think. Different but good. Think Procession or Doubts but with lots more.

And while I'm on the topic of Gillian, do you reckon that's her making the female pleasurable sounds on Kiss of Death and live versions of TPK? Good thing it's only a sample and not something she'd do live all the time or Stevie might start getting insecure. :p

Yeah, I think Gillian's voice is a resource they could have made more use of. She sounds great on the O2 tracks she did, and her voice really adds a lot to Doubts Even Here. I believe that may be her on Someone Likes You as well. Too bad with her more or less inactive we've probably heard the last of her.

Agreed. I really like her voice (it's like Sarah Dubstar's a bit). I hated the Melanie Williams vocals on the last Other Two album.
