Gigography inconsistencies 1980-1

I've set on the task of comparing the date/venue listings of the Gigography (http://www.new-order.net/no/gigs/, mirroring http://www.waterrat.com/nogig.htm) with what "the other site" (http://www.worldinmotion.net/neworder/gigography/1980.htm) has listed.

Here are the discrepencies I've found, for 1980-1. I'd kindly appreciate any corroboration, one way or another.

The NOOL site seems to be entirely deriviative of the Waterrat listing, at least for this time period in question.

1980

800904 WIM has "Brady's Liverpool", WR has "Warehouse Preston". If I recall correctly, the WIM listing is correct, as this was discussed a while ago, but I'm not certain.

WIM has 800920 for Maxwell's Hoboken NJ, WR 800921

WIM has 800926 Hurray's NYC, WR 800927

WIM has 800927 for _Tier 3_ NYC, WR 800928 for _Pier 3_ NYC

I wonder why these are all off a day.

1981

WR lists 810111 Rock Garden Middlesborough and 801105 Country Club Reseda CA which WIM does not

WIM has the Boys Club Bedford (21st) and Jenkinson's Bar Brighton gigs (22nd) in February, WR has them listed in March.

WIM has 810417 St. Andrews University, Scotland, while WR gives the date as 810416.

WIM lists the venue of 811121 Trenton, NJ as "City Gardens". I'm liable to accept this one.

1982-3 listings to follow...

A definitive list will probably never appear, too many people have their own subjective views on 20 year old gigs, buy hey it would be nice. Tim !!!!! keep up the good work.

Yeah, I think I'm resolved to the fact that there will never be a definitive list. But it would be good to at least document and fix whatever is listed, and it would be good to see who wins the Waterrat vs WIM gigography battle. 1980-1 can be round 1. :-)

Yes it will be good to see who wins round one, i for one appreciate the efforts of eveyonetrying to sort it all.
