Well, it's been a long time requested thing, so it's now available...
NewOrderOnline has a chat room! Check the menu above, but beware, you MUST be logged on...
It might not work with all browsers, for that I am sorry, if you find any bugs, post them to the technical forum, if you have ideas how to improve (well, maybe not now, it's too basic), let me know.
The chat is not an application chat like Java chat (which you NEED Java installed on your machine to make it work), it's a 100% pure HTML chat server based, so in order to make it work, the frames are refreshed every few seconds, it's not "real time", but it's quite close to real time...
We can't do better with the current technology, other than that, it would need the use of an application run on a client (just like a java applet is ran on your machine)...
The chat room supports all NewOrderOnline codes you are used too.. it also has a buffer, so even if you are alone in the chat room, people will see what you have posted when they will enter the chat room.
As I said, it's basic, but it's working... I will improve it once I'll have finished the Community Final Round pages.. I have 2 weeks of vacation coming up in the holidays, I might have some free time to work on this, but I'd still prefer take a break from the computer!
