According to Time Out NY which I've just bought now Hooky is doing a DJ gig at the "Church Lounge" in the Tribeca Grand Hotel on Church Street tonight, Friday 28th. It starts at 10pm and admission is free.

I'm heading down at about 10.30pm. Wont be checking my mail but if anyone else is heading down look out for a tipsy Glaswegian with glsses and his wench celebrating the last 90 minutes of being in his 20's!!!Spot me and I'll by you a drink.

David, if you're reading this text me your moby number. The phone is acting up when receiving calls but texts are getting through fine.

See ya.

Sorry to disagree but I had a top night!

Arrived at at bout half 10 at the hotel which was as plush as they come. The lounge area was pretty much the entire downstairs lobby and Hooky was "playing" at what the snooty server told us was an invite only VIP area through the back. Was about to blag it with the mug on the door when I spotted the Hookster himself and bothered him to get me, the burd and 2 New Yorkers we'd hooked up with in.

He sat down at the table till the missus got back from the bar and then walked the four of us in which was good of him. Told us he thought tonight's gig was gonna be shit and that it wasn't worth going to (?!!!!), that hitting 30 was cool but 35 is when it all starts to get "physical" and was generally quite civil and chatty.

The DJ set? As you'd expect total bollocks! Hooky stood next to a DJ that's for sure but I didn't see him touch the decks! The crowd was all models and ponces who didn't have a clue who he was and it was , get this, 12 f***in dollars for a can of Sapporo!!!

In saying that though we still managed to get blind drunk and have a top night. Here's to tonight!

Hi, i was there too and i thought it was amazing. i just had a question for whoever else was there. did you recognize that weird remix of love will tear us apart? the dj said it was a malcolm mclaren version that hadnt come out and that hooky was just handing him odd mixes of stuff like shes lost control or atmosphere which he said was from germany. anyways if anyone has any info on if or when the mclaren thing is coming out, that would be great.

thanks,

-paul
