Myself and Al, suggest 2 New Order outings next March at the following Kraftwerk gigs, Manchester Apollo and Brixton Academy.

Come be there, what will the German techo pioneers think when they are greeted with chants of NU ORDAH, NU ORDAH

I think there's a fair few at the RFH as well, Mike! I know Nick King, Old Blue, Steve Waller and Johnny G are all there too. And ATR has front row seats (mad man!).

Though Brixton and Mancland should defo have good turnouts too. . .

Shame it ain't New Order though, eh?!

As for RFH, I think it's sold out. You can see a seating plan when you book at Festival Hall and there doesn't appear to be a single seat left!

OB, yes, I'm sure ATR will be 'carrying' about his person!

I got my RFH tickets through the post this morning! I've got a seat next to an aisle to accomodate my expanding waistband. This will be my third time seeing them (Sheffield City Hall 81 and 93(???'Tour De France')) both of those had damn near the same sets. Managed to get some good stage front 'Pocket Calculator' photos.

We saw Karl Bartos recently, and his set started exactly the same as Kraftwerk's - Numbers seguing into Computer World!!

Yup, I'm going to be at both RFH and Brixton gigs - managed to nab front row seats for RFH, as I was off sick that day! :D

Looking forward to this - I've never seen them live before, and was hoping that one day they'd come back to the UK and do some gigs (or anywhere, to be honest, but those previous French dates sold out really quickly).

Apparently Kraftwerk are playing two shows at Brixton Academy that night - one at 8 for an hour and the other at 11 for an hour...

Presumably most people are going for the 8pm show?

A few of us are doing both. The first gig's Sold Out so I know a people who couldn't get 'em for the earlier show now getting in there quick for the later offering..

It's a bit cheeky though, isn't it? Two shows in one night? I know they did this in Paris but it's not quite the same as seeing the band two nights running, is it? Still, like with New Order a lot of my reasons for attending are strictly social. I should imagine it's the exact same set on every date anyways.

Well, I would love to be there and see Kraftwerk and all the English Order Posse but I am saving all my food stamps for the soon to come New Order World Tour. Reckon it should start around that time next year. :shrug:

C'mon they'll eventually release a new CD and start touring. Got to be before Summer 2004. :rolleyes:

Will there be a 'world' tour?? Can't see it myself - anyone know roughly the non-UK sales figures for "Get Ready". Just a few token dates at festivals, I'd imagine, and maybe one or two 'prestigious' stateside shows.

Either way, I'm making it to some shows abroad next time round. see you all in L.A.!!!!

They don't play bars anymore. Stadium scene is more their thing. Do they let 18 year olds into stadia ?

In stadia I'll be allowed, but would the Order be able to get a sizeable audience in a stadium?? Unless their new album is marketed well Stateside, New Order will not be commercially successful here.

I don't think there's any age restriction on stadium gigs in the US. George, who we did the US shows with, had done the majority of his gigs in his early teens at the end of the 80's.

Don't think New Order could hope to play a stadium gig in the US now though, not unless they're 3rd billing again.
