I was right up against the stage, literally, and the very sight of Hooky left me awe struck. I took a ton of photos, so as soon as I get them uploaded I will post a link. He is such a dominating presence on stage, more so then i could have ever imagined. What a night...I can rest knowing ive accomplished something i had to do before i died.

i too was struck by Hooky's stage presence and general Bass God posturing when i saw NewOrder at AreaOne. Hooky's a major star...my favorite bass player. Unfortunately, his sidekick leaves a little (lot) to be desired in the live setting.

I've seen video footage of concerts from the 84-5 era, and Hooky seems even more ferocious with the energy of youth at his side, but trust me...seeing Hooky for the first time tonight, it was piercing to me...a vision and a memory that will certainly not be leaving my mind...as i think its permanently etched in there...

it was indeed a great f'n show....all about hooky, of course
i've seen n.o. 4 times previously but have never been so close to my god (aka hooky)
he literally almost hit me with is bass a few times tonight.....woot!

i also scored hooky's handwritten notes for the two tracks he performed...straight from his pocket to the stage to the roadie to meeeee
