No idea - just found it on the venue's website when I was looking at The Fall site for details of upcoming gigs.
If anyone sees Clint Boon tell him I say hi. I sat next to him at the second Electronic show at Dodger Stadium in 1990 and we did actually stay in touch for a while.
Top bloke. DM
According to Nylon Pylon's official website, it's only Hooky who will be dj'ing tonight:
"Saturday 6th December The Castle, Oldham. 9pm-2am ---Opening night after massive refurb ---£1 entry before 11pm, £2 after ---Also DJ set with peter hook (New Order)"
Oh, and btw, the Inspirals are playing Manchester's Academy tonight, so doubt whether Clint'll be there! (They were on top form at Brixton, last night, btw!) :)
l8rs,
Nick ;)

Er, weren't they playing Shepherd's Bush? Had ATR and the Hibster here yesterday and a v.drunk ATR left mine around 5pm to put his bag in backstage at the Empire! (He had an AAA pass).
Found out yesterday Alex had seen the Carpets 48 times BEFORE Tom Hingley took over as lead singer. I didn't even know they'd had a different singer prior to Tom! FORTY-EIGHT times though!!!
Yeah, you're right - Shepherd's Bush - must have been a good night! ![]()
The DVD I bought at the gig was them live at Brixton earlier in the year - that must have been why my mind was on Brixton as the venue!
l8rs,
Nick ;)

Blimey, you mean they played 48 times before Tom became lead singer? ![]()
The guy's name was Stephen Holt (if memory serves me correctly), and they also had another bassist (both Martyn Walsh and Tom Hingley joined at roughly the same time - just before 'Joe' was released as a single - produced by 808 State!).
Their first couple of singles (Planecrash EP - "Keep The Circle Round", Trainspotting EP - "Butterfly", and the Dung 4 Cassette, as well as a track on an Edward Barton compilation album - "Two Cows") were all pre-Tom Hingley.

He did the Paradiso and Brussels. Then Easyjet cancelled his flight from Charleroi to Liverpool (can't remember who he was seeing there?) so he ended up in London instead. Came to see Blur with me and the Hibster, then he went off to see the Inspirals and got a lift back North in the Puressence tour bus.
He drills holes in metal for a living. His words, not mine.
