State of the nation video

I was watching the State of the nation video (amongst others)over the weekend and was wondering where the concert footage came from any ideas?

I'm not sure I've ever seen it to be honest. The only footage I've seen of SOTN live was from The Tube.

If my memory serves me rightly its NO in Japan "Pumped Full of Drugs" live concert. Played it to death. Really really good

If my memory serves me rightly its NO in Japan "Pumped Full of Drugs" live concert. Played it to death. Really really good

State of the Nation hadn't been played live when they were in Japan - it was written between those dates and the arrival in Australia.

The video for Shellshock is the one that features "Pumped..." footage.

I can't remember ever seeing a video for SOTN. Is it a lot like the Shellshock video.

It's similar in that it has a bit of live footage i.e. the filming of the Perfect Kiss video and bits of the pumped video.The Sotn video has a bit of concert footage mixed with some guy running through what looks like a car park plus some really bad lip syncing:)

That would please all the loyal fans all over the world, help get NO's discography in order, and perhaps even spark new interest in the band. Thus, it'll never happen :p

Personally, I think it's rather good. Like the interchange between Bernard singing and Steve smashing out the kit in black and white.

Could do without the guy running tho.
