Japanese Version of New Order Story

I have the Japanese Version of New ORder Story & it is much longer than the U.S. version with much more content. What's up with this ? Which countires besides Japan got the longer version and why ?

Everybody got the long version besides the US. This was a conspiracy against the US, because we all know just how much the band hates Americans. This is also why they won't play there again.

I was indeed being ironic. Partly as a response to all those bozos who register here and post one message, namely "when are N.O. playing the US again" and all those who complain about them never playing the US, when they have done more US gigs than records sold over there !

What is it what all British bands??? Seemingly they have only one real aspiration (apart from appearing on TOTP), namely, making it in the States. Even New Order fell victim to this between '86 and '89: in those years, apart from the odd tours in Australasia and South America, their appearances outside the UK and the USA can almost be counted on a leper's hands .

Supposedly where the money is, and I have always found a certain irony in their US arena tours when you consider their reluctance to play even London to start with ! I don't know what Central Europe has done to deserve the neglect it has had in terms of gigs since 1985, I can only assume that the Hacienda and Ryder's nose were costing so much that they needed the financial guarantees that only US tours could provide.
