i have NOTHING to do. i admit it.

according to my statistics from 15 of July 1956 until 18 of May 1980 23 years and 307 days went by.

from 18 of May 1980 until today 23 years and 212 days went by.

that means by the 20 of March 2004 it will pass as much time from Ian´s death as the time Ian was alive! :eek3:

this shows the little time the guy lived. at times i don´t really take real dimension and concience that he was a boy. nevertheless he did left a trace,ah?

On the 20th March a fair few NOOLers will be getting mightily tipsy at Kraftwerk.. .. I should imagine.. .

ShugZV and Donnie Brasco are already threatening the New Order chant for when the Kraut techno-meisters take the stage!! ;)

Yeah, I always find it funny to think about just how young those guys were when they were Joy Division. Having become attached to the band over the past four years, I'm used to seeing them as a bunch of old fatties. Ah....youth.

Hmm...the very same morning Mt. St. Helens blew up. Coincidence? I don't see why not.

hmmm, interesting... what´s your favourite movie? :skeptic:If you're suggesting it's Stroszek, I seriously doubt that was Ian's favorite movie. And even if it was, I don't think he'd have much time to tell anyone that (although from what his wife says, he knew what the movie was about before he saw it and therefore didn't want to watch it with his dad). I can see it now: in the suicide note:

"By the way, Debbie, you should really check out this Stroszek flick. I watched it last night and it's possibly the coolest movie ever! It has a cable car and a truck driving in circles and a dancing chicken and truck stop hookers and German people and pianos and a ham and so much more! Well, I'm off to off myself. It's been real. I'm just gonna hang around the kitchen for a while. See you 'round."

Besides, everyone knows his favorite movie was actually 'Snow White.'
