What's on yer computer as you while away the oors...

thanks to Blue Guy I currently have the Warsaw album on here, I'm out on the piss in about an hours time, and I have to say, after listening to this album twice in a row, I'm in the mood to go out and get as doped up as Rio Ferdinand:evil4:

Just a mix CD I made over a year ago. It's of NO, Electronic, and PSB, starting with Confusion '87 and closing with a live version of "Closer to Heaven", with HTS AND TPK 12" in the middle.

Just recording a copy of my upgraded Technique album (12" singles, Run2, Bsides etc) for a good friend who currently has no Neworder in his record collection and therefore needs a bit of a push in the right direction ...:)

Joy Division BBC recordings in my car. Good traveling music especially Exercise One--makes me want to drive fast and dangerously.

Not listening to anything right now, but I have been listening to a Yardbirds live gig from '64, back when "blues purist" Eric Clapton was still in the group (I always laugh about Clapton leaving the 'Birds because they were going commercial, then about a year later starting up Cream. No fault of his own). I went out yesterday and picked up a Yardbirds best-of from about 1986 or so, evenly distributed between the Clapton and Jeff Beck eras. I may just go ahead and order "Five Live Yardbirds" off amazon sometime before the end of the year. :thumb:

I've been listening to NO live stuff I got recently and making copies to give them as freebies to the fellow onliners from São Paulo. There is going to be a piss-up today, loads of people will attend this event... Err, no, actually there will be only four of us!

No, I haven't, as I already told you by e-mail. I will quote my own reply.

I met a guy who taped an audience video recording of this gig. He used to host a radio show and he's a known DJ nowadays. I'm still trying to convince him to get me a copy. Let's hope for the best.

Listened to most of the No Thanks!!! punk box set, so I heard LWTUA and Warsaw by JD, and the PFD version of Love Vigilantes just got done on random play.

Do you have the '83 gig at the Metro in Chicago in which, because NO's equiptment fails, they have to do an acoustic version of Blue Monday?

After open pc surgery (installing a new burner) i put the Hacienda 1/26/83 show along with the Red Parrot Perth, Australia 2/21/87 show on one disc. WTF, no songs repeat. Been waiting to do this for two weeks since ye olde burner passed away.

Yesterday night i fell asleep with very quiet music. I listened to Roedelius: "Aquarello". Also, all these x-mas days were a good oppurtunity to get into the whole Spacemen 3 stuff again. "Lord, can you hear me when i call?"

Well, it's on CD, but I bought myself 2 Real McKenzie's CDs for Christmas: "Pissed Tae Th' Gills," and "Oot and Aboot." So I've been listening to that, some Polish CD I borrowed from a friend, and of course, Moz.
