eschreamer again

I've been told that there is a US Reprise in-house CDR for Blue Monday 95 (dated June 2001) with the following tracklisting:

The BM mixes are the ones we've seen on the regular releases. The Hawtin Love.com mix is most likely the Richie Hawtin Mix from the compilation From Manchester With Love.net (I will get a confirmation on this later). The Oakenfold Edit is the Perfecto Radio Edit.

Even though the CD sleeve says "From CD Source" (scan will be available in the next update of the Discography), the Eschreamer mixes are clearly from vinyl. The Eschreamer Dub is the same as the one on CreamLive (albeit longer). The Eschreamer Dubbier has "I feel so extraordinary" and "Morning sun" repeated all over. I don't know what the Eschreamer Mix sounds like (Antoine?), but I suspect that the Mix and Dubbier are one and the same.

Most, if not all, of the BM mixes are available on CD - the radio edits on promo only. The Eschreamer mixes are on that recalled and mysterious 12" promo, NUXXDJ6, that reportedly only exists in 15 copies. A short version of the Dub version surfaced on that CreamLive mix-compilation.

But unless you're a collector, or a fan of dance music in general, and Tall Paul in particular, you probably don't care.

the eschreamer 12" w/label wasn't recalled, the deal was that pete tong had a few pressed up to give out, I believe that the band didn't even know about it. one came into my possession and I couldn't be bothered to keep it as it was a big pile of shit (like all tall paul stuff), obviously this was pre-ebay (and esprit) so it sold for a song and now would be worth.....well who knows, depends if D. Sultan has a copy

i've got a copy of both eschreamer mixes, and they aren't that great..

in fact both are rather similiar, and forgettable..

i don't think its really worth all the hassle of finding them..

This version was the Morel Pink Noise Edit - the same as can be found on the Retro bonus disc. On the Q CD it was slightly mixed in at the start and end with its encompassing tracks.

According a press-sheet that came with a 12" promo for 1963, it mentions that the Eschreamer mixes were to be released on the regular 12" release (NUOX6). The Eschreamer promo 12" has cat# NUXXDJ6, same as the typical 1963 promo. Perhaps the mixes weren't signed off by the band/management, or there were some licening problems?

I believe a copy sold on eBay a while back for quite a hefty price...

I've had a chance to hear the one with "I feel so extraordinary", and as a dance-music fan I must say it's quite enjoyable. I can see though how the average all-remixes-since-93-suck fan can dislike the remix (not implying that you dislike all the dance remixes...)
