Why is Touched by the hand of God on (the best of) different from the 12" version? To me, it sounds like they've just sped it up a bit (it's faster and Bernards voice is different, kind of more mickey-mousey)...
I like the 12"-version better actually...
I never really noted the difference. I have the Substance video with (I think) the original version of Touched on there, but I just never really heard any differences between the two.

That's the one I like best... Crappy soundtrack though, don't know about the film, but judging by the cover it looks like utter 80's crap
The version on my Best Of seems to start in the middle, compared to the three-track CD single.

Right about the version of Touched..., and right about the film as well. Watched it once, mostly because Exene Cervenka was in it, and I'm having a hard time remembering one other damn thing about it.

TBTHOG on the Salvation soundtrack is definitely the best version. It's probably closest to the version they did live back in the day. The rest were tainted by Arthur Baker.
Yeah, saw that stooopid Salvation movie with my hard-earned cash in my uni days...and yes, you're right, it's CRAP...don't know how NO get to be associated with the movie...is it that Kathryn Bigelow a fan? But I thought the soundtrack was okay...lot's of instrumental...I even liked that other band featured on it, can't remember the name, I think the 'Hood' or something...
I remember hearing TBTHOG for the first time in late 86 when NO played in Sydney at the Selinas, Coogee...Barney muttered something before the song...as usual I just can't understand the thick Mancunian accent.
