I got a little inspiration from all the quizzes/trivia et. al. that concerned lyrics...
I really miss a search function where you can search lyrics. Like if you'd only remember a certain line from one of their songs and really really don't remember which song... I've considered programming something like that for myself, but then no-one else would have use for it! I don't know if that will mean more work for you, or if it will slow this site down...
It's just a little suggestion :)
I'm still awaiting the 'promised' section of the site that will allow us access to the governments 'X' files... As if that's ever going to happen (Sebsy?). So good luck, Sophisticated Pizza, with your 'Search Engine' (is it powered by steam?)

What a very lovely idea Sophlady. I've got a suggestion that might be working faster: Just drop the part of the lyric you remind on the Forum, i think there's lots of NOonliners that would/could give you an immediate and ultimate answer.

Yes. but it would be *so* embarassing to admit that I don't remember which song... :shy: Right now I'd browse through the possible songs, it's often more efficient than to ask someone. By the time I have the answer I'll already found out for myself...
And I also think that in the Lyrics section, you should be able to choose if you want to browse the songs by albums or by alphabetical order (some of the albums in the discography section don't have tracklistings). Because sometimes it's easier to remember which album the song is on. For instance, I know the lyrics for the songs on Movement and I know which songs that are on Movement, but I don't know which lyric goes with which song, because I've not listened enough to Movement.

And about your idea Maria, I like it, but it will be up to Nicolas to do it, and from what I know (from past discussions about this), it's a time consuming thing to do because Nicolas would have to implement something on the server to work as the "search engine".
As you will find at the lower left corner of the main welcome page and the main Tours & Concerts page, we planned a search engine for quite a while now.
Time, time, time...
