Well...I needed some new work shoes, so I drug my arse to the mall for the first time in about a year (the last time I needed shoes for work)...seems they have put one of those Virgin Megastore's in the mall since the last time I was out that way...so I popped in...they had a huge clearance display...and I frigging see the Crystal Japanese Single...

now can anyone explain why I had to have it??? I've got Crystal on 3 other singles already, and the "bonus" tracks are on 3 16...so why??? why could I not resist adding this one to the collection???

Hey, wouldn't it have been funny if they called themselves New Material after Joy Division? Then at gigs, we could all be shouting "New Material"! :evil4:

If I'd had all of the tracks, I probably would've waited to buy the single when it hit the sale racks as well, I don't really need to buy another single I'll probably hardly ever play, though the completist in me would tell me not to wait to buy it, who knows when I'd see it again?

Hey, I paid 30$ for the canadian tribute album Thieves Like Us to trade for 2 copies of this (and I'm not even sure Sebastien paid me his part), I guess you paid a little fortune as an import, didn't you ;)

Why wouldn't you have bought it, more like? It's a nice item! Unique artwork and tracks that aren't readily available on CD. You did the right thing...

Now, what were the shoes like and did you go for the matching hat and handbag?

t'was indeed a bargain - i paid £17 when it came out! but then it was the 1st available (official) version of crystal on cd....
