I still can't believe my eyes that this forum has now 13390 posts since it's v2.0 opening...

Do you know that this is MORE messages than any other New Order related sources, I can tell you we're a long way ahead of the Ceremony Mailing List, and that other New Order website using a forum.

Thank you for this everyone, we tought forcing people to register would make the forum very quiet, but it seems that after all, it made it a lot more populare than we expected.

As you can see, due to the success of the english forum, we are now trying to make different languages versions of this forum. Right now, we have one in German, one in French and one in Swedish... maybe they'll be more, maybe not, that depends of the users we see here posting.. we have plans for a Brazilian Portuguese one, but we need to find a moderator before.

This should not alterate the discussions in here, in fact it should just help because some people having problem with English should be able to find a forum of their own, which will make the traffic increase...

We sure hope the success will continue, maybe even after the New Order activity reduce in the next months.. We are opened to suggestions and we are trying to improve the site daily.

I'm currently working on a search engine for this forum to help people finding messages, and other functions you might want to see.

Thank you very much!

Your webmasters.

...but somehow i've got that feeling that my german buddies are a bunch of lazy couch potatoes...not that much traffic in the german forum... :(

Keep up the good work people !!!

There's nothing wrong with eating potatoes on your couch so long as you still post on the good ship OrderLiner.

I look forward to the foreign speaking post rooms, which I hope to attend frequently, with or without my trusted translator machine.

How sweet...Nic thanking us, when it's through his hard work (and maybe a little assistance from Sebsy), that we have all discovered this wonderful little place. I still rue the upcoming day when they leave us...I still haven't stopped crying in my beer....

The success of this site Nic and Seb is all down to you guys and the helpers you have in the background. This is without doubt the best New Order site there is and probably one of the best fan sites of any band on the web. The rest of us are merely incidentals drawn here by the fact that it is so good, informative, and above all, with Huntsy and Buster K et al, very very entertaining. At last I have found some place to share the joy of the Order with like minded people. Thank you! :smoking:

Muffy, you took the words right out of my mouth. Three cheers for our webmasters who by now fully deserve the title of Masters of the Web.

Aww Sebs...that was just a light harded jab...no harm intended there, eh???

And is it the Expos time to go? From what I hear, it should be the Marlins and the Twins...(and the Marlins deserve it for what they did after they won the World Series).

Once again, a million thanks to you and the Blanc for giving us this "home"...

Hahaha, I was just wondering if people were under the impression that I had nothing to do with NewOrderOnline's structure or content. Phhhew!

As for the Expos, Bud "F... IDIOT" Selig has announced yesterday that two teams will be contracted, and in every scenario, the Expos are always part of these two teams. The other one most likely to be are the Minnesota Twins but, yes, the Marlins too and also Tampa Bay's Devil Rays and even the Oakland Athletics. I'm surprised that the Kansas City Royals are not part of this short list, because they have done as much firesales as the Expos and Marlins did these past years. And what about the Pittsburgh Pirates?

Major League Baseball is sick, and run by sick people.

(and I'm sick of it)

NO Sebsy, we all thought you were just a pretty face, while Nic was the one doing all the work!!! So Seb...if the order does make their way to Montreal, just where do you think they would play...or better yet...maybe the would play in Quebec City, at Le Colisee de Quebec?!?!?!? :nonono:

Definitely at one with your opinions Muffster! To Seb and Nic - felicitations for such a great site!! You have enriched my life immeasurably after the traumatic post-Get-Ready-Flop-Fiasco that blighted my conscience a couple of months ago. I was planning to call it a day after I passed my 500th or 586th post but, knowing how much I'd miss sharing so many thoughts, laughs and tomfoolery with other crazy Order afficionados, it became very hard for me to keep my word. What else could I honestly do?

So, once again, raised glasses all round, dudes!

Thanks, Muffy.

By the way, as I said before, it's great to talk New Order to death and not bother anyone.

I've spent so many years talking about them, to friends and others, finding I was a little too NO-obsessed...

I'm impressed by your knowledge of our provincial arenas!

Nonetheless, if New Order does tour North America, it will certainly be in much smaller venues, so as far as Montreal goes, it would be either the Spectrum (1500 to 3000 people venue) or the Metropolis (5000 people venue).

As funny as it may seem, it's now called "Le Colisée Pepsi".. which is the exact same name than the Colorado Avalanche's arena, Pepsi Coliseum...

Well, at least they didn't steal everything from us in Denver :D

RIP The Nordiques (now Avalanche), RIP the Expos.. what's next.. the so-mighty-powerful Montréal Canadiens? (For people in Europe, this is what the Manchester United is to Ice Hockey)?

Those damn Americans, all taking away our sports teams :D

Anyway, what is this doing in my post about the statistics of the site :)

On that matter, thanks for your comment everyone.. I admit it had its share of trouble while programming this fully dynamic website, but I guess it was worth it.. now send 5$ to the webmasters for appreciation and feeling good about yourselves :D

How come YOU know about the Canadian Football League? :-)

Oh yeah, there was a team in San Antonio once.. but then again...!!

Oh...yes, the CFL did invade the states for a while, I had forgotten about that...but back before ESPN had hockey and NFL football, they used to broadcast CFL games, and I found the wide open variety that you gents play quite entertaining...besides, the nicknames were better...the Tiger Cats...Eskimos...and I was also intrigued by the fact that you had two teams with the same nick names...Calgary and Seskatchewan, both fielding the Rough Riders. It was great.

I have yet to know the reason why 2 teams had the same name... probably a result of a merge somewhere.. I never was a real football fan (even though I played in high school)...

Yes it's different from American Football, 3 downs instead of 4, the field is different, the amount of players is different, but basically it's the same game... :D
