this is a very friendly topic, isn't it? Like anything in life, some tracks are good, and some not; it ain't all shit, nor is it all great.

It is far better than what I was expecting at the beginning of this project!

It is far better than what I was expecting at the beginning of this project! before I listened to any of the tracks, I thought it was going to be junk, but after a couple of listens I was impressed by some of the tracks

I think most of the tracks are great. One thing I noticed about the tracks that I didn't like and didn't vote for was that the music was great, but then some of the groups had to ruin it with their terrible vocals. Yikes! some of their voices sound like Goth colliding with Bauhaus colliding with Rick Astley.
I cannot wait until the voting is finished until I can talk about some of the tracks specifically.

Remember that most songs sent are "demos", so unmastered, maybe not mixed correctly, and etc.. not everyone went to studio and have a mixing desk somewhere.
Winning songs will be mastered, so the song should be enhanced and pretty much alike, hence I have high hopes for the album itself.
Of course it won't be my own top 15, but that's the idea behind it, it's the fans picking the song.. imagine if New Order would do that for their next record!!!

Hey guys come on!!
These artists are not NO, but they have done a tremendous job. I especially like those efforts who have tried to accentuate the vocals. You can't tell me that Barney's voice is the best you've heard!!

That is a fact!! Barney's voice can take some getting used to for some.
The people who have been contributing, whether they make it to the final incarnation of the CD or not, have ALL done a fantastic job. Period!
