I popped in this afternoon to get a copy of the soundtrack and was surprised to see the great man himself puffing away on a cigarette at the entrance. Rushed inside to buy the disk, grabbed a pen of the assistant and cornered him as he was entering the foyer he was gracious enough to sign it.

Noticed there are also signed copies of the hardback version of 'Designed by Peter Saville' for sale...£50 though.

Had a brilliant afternoon at the URBIS yesterday. Some great original artefacts although i did seem to own most of what was in the display cabinets of the records and CDs.Obviously the original concept drawings and pieces of ZINC are worth viewing.I was glad to see the DAT of SUBSTANCE and despite efforts could not take this away for future examination. Was hoping to get a few goodies but i will be going back for the talk in MARCH i think.Thought they could have played the SOUNDTRACK louder and didn't have a camera. Was any of you lot there?Liked the TBTHoG PARKA but thought it was a bit small for me so left it on the other dummy(SHUGZV :D ). Worth going and at first i thought they only had 8 FAC 53's until the AQUA one was found in a plastic holder.

I spent one and a half hours walking round the show yesterday with a daft grin on my face. It's hard to express how I felt looking down at the actual Titaanzink metal sheet and the TF leaves.

I bought the book (£20 for the unsigned paperback) and nearly splurged a ton on one of his pics in the foyer.

Spotted an interesting quote from Paul Morley, saying that there was a time when the only art hanging on his walls at home was by Saville... not a bad idea that;)

ok, I actually would love to have a copy of the Peter Saville soundtrack... (even as an mp3)

but all I've been able to find on ebay is this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2591839939&category=58594

...which seems to be a fake, right?

oh, and I did manage to buy the book though. It's great isn't it?

Yep, that looks dodgy to me. I was referring to the Design Museum soundtrack.

It was a great show, I was lucky enought to be in London when it was on. Bought a couple of the soundtrack and the book.
