Gets shown on telly quite frequently over here. An escaped prisoner hides in a barn, he is discovered by two children, his long hair/bearded looks etc convince the children he is JC. They decide to care for him feed him etc. The little boy tells a mate at school, soon all the village kids are helpin out. Then , he is betrayed and arrested. The arrest scene takes place on a hill. The final scene convinces one of the kids it is JC It was available on budget dvd over here It is set in the north of England The star Alan Bates, died a coupla weeks ago The little girl was Played by Hayley Mills, whose son Crispian was Singer/guitar with Kulashaker Hope this helps Gary Mac
Oh , and Andrew Lloyd Webber turned it into a stage musical, he changed the settin/some story points by moving the story to your countrys deep south. I have'nt ( nor will I ) seen it. Boyzone had a hit single, ' no matter what they say ', taken from the score/original cast recording
