Someone Like You remixes

I haven't really been a fan of remixing in the last few years...too much of the original songs have just plain been deleted over the years in leiu of a new song completely, but lately I've been really digging the GABRIEL + DRESDON 911 MIX of Someone Like You.

Have G+D done anything else interesting? They got a good style and I wanna find out more.

Dave Dresden made a few appearances here to tell us about his mixes, which probably didn't get the credit they deserved as being better than the New Order product ! Several people, myself included (regrettably) gave Dave a bit of a hard time over his gushing over New Order, DJ speak and being "down wit da kids" when, as always, it should have been the music doing the talking. The 911 mix of Someone Like You is one of the best remixes of a New Order song I have ever heard (up there with the Fire Island Regret), and I look forward to hearing their other stuff - thanks for the link Eric !

Couldn't understand the logic to release 2 12" singles of pretty decent remixes but not on cd. This was the best single that never was. G & D did a good mix of Coldplay's Clocks as well.

They have done some pretty good remixes the last couple of years. The ones that pop into my mind are Way Out West's Mindcircus and Groove Armada's Superstylin' (though I think Dresden did that one with Pablo La Rosa).

Unfortunately they have started to suffer from the Club 69-syndrome (together with Hex Hector, Thunderpuss, etc.), i.e. while the remixes are solid and good, they tend to sound similar...
