How many references are there in Joy Division songs to alcohol ? There's the obvious possibility by inference in "we'll share a drink and step outside" in New Dawn Fades, but how many more can you spot ?

A starter for ten:

"They keep Carling me" in Dead Souls.....

Genius!! How's about "This is the Chablis I knew had to come/Destroying the balance I'd kept".

At least, that's what happened to me at Finsbury!!

Or:

"I-I-I-I'm living in the Smirnoff Ice Age"

And, of course:

"I've got the SPIRITS/But lose the feeling..."

Sure we all know that feeling.........

Agreed! I hope you don't think of yourself as someone with good taste in beer! :D  Try these - Sam Adam's, Guinness Stout, Kilian's Red, Stoudt's Honey Double Maibock, or the ever popular Fosters or Heineken. All of these taste much better than that piss water Carling, Coors and Rolling Rock!

Sorry for going off topic:p
