I just been out to the shop, and found a rather interesting flavour of Pringles - namely Curry Flavour. It says on the tube that they are 'Limited Edition'. Has anyone else seen this fabulous light snack anywhere? If not, do I win a prize?

Sorry HM, don't know them but the Curry flavour Pringles have already been discussed here, if I remember well.

Errrrrmmmmm me Patrick. I must have been elsewhere during those great times. I'm now back in the land of the living thank feck
Short clip from Patsy's song about curry flavor crips :
How I wish they were here with me noooowww
Don't waste time hankering after the 'Curry's LE'... they're too fatty tasting and, in my opinion, Pring-nips have over egg'd the pudding in the mixture - too much fat and not enough crispy.
they do taste like curry though... which is always a bonus.

Huntsman, have you heard if there is indeed a Rice flavoured Pringly thing on these fair shores, or if there are plans to create some, to sit nicely with these curry ones?
Keep in mind, Huntsy, that our tastes do seem to differ in certain matters. I would just cite our views on Ragtime, as an example.
of course it is Patrick. that is why i would eat them at the same time as the curry ones..
oh i don't know, rice sandwiches with tomato sauce aint too bad after a night out on the pop. Guaranteed to make you throw up, thus so you can start all over again
A meat pie and gravy flavoured tub would be nice
probably sell very well in Manchester as well ;)

HM... I have tried Pringles Curry with a bowl of rice, last weekend in fact and it was quite a decent combo. I can usually stomach 2 tubes of Pringles in a single sitting but the excessive fat content of the Curry tube put me off going any further, which was irritating as I had my fave Sour Cream and Onion light in cold storage.
I'm a little disappointed that the maker of Pringnippers don't produce more as good as Sour Cream... I might write to them and suggest a flavour no human can describe, the letter would contain only symbols but I'm sure they'll understand what I'm attempting to describe.
Patty Pringers Curry won't even be to the taste of you US fettlers... they are a bit like the barbecue flavour in density, just shift the taste to curry and you can almost be in the tube.

Well, Huntsy, the barbecue ones were a little more than I could handle, in terms of the red powder, so perhaps the curry flavor would also be beyond my powers.

I stumbled across the fabled limited edition curry flavour last weekend and so was tempted into trying them, egged on by your recommendation in some previous thread. Yes, they do taste like curry, but that weak, poofy (that'll be FAGGY to you guys over the pond) chinese curry that barely stimulates the tongue, and certainly never causes the nasty, uncomfortable, 'burny ring sindrome' brought on by a decent vindaloo! Hot'N Spicy wins it for me! ![]()
are curry the same as hot and spicy. they're ok but i prefer barbecue and salt and vinegar. they are so addictive they must contain some kind of drug.

No, Hot 'N Spicy are a completely different flavour and are much tastier than the Curry ones. Yes they are addictive are'nt they, their secret ingredient is probably crack cocaine or something! ![]()
