Inspired by a thread somewhere, I put together a New Order megamix, named re:transmission.
The reason I made this mix is because I'm a little bit disappointed on all the official, and non-official megamixes (well, the DMC one is good, short and sweet) - the latest one being the Cornerstone mix. I also wanted to feature non-traditional tracks/versions in a mix that is both listenable and danceable (well, more listenable...) It's not how I would typically build a set.
The files of interest is a 160kbps mp3 (~71MB), a .nfo file, a 300dpi jpg with the art work, and a .cue file if you want to burn it to a CD with separate tracks. Let me know if you have any trouble with the files. See the end of this message for a link to the files. Kudos to Sam who's hosting the files 
Here's the tracklisting and a short motivation:
- ruined in a day : reunited in a day remix - One of my top-3 remixes, and a great intro to the megamix.
- touched by the hand of god : 12" version - I included this mostly for transitional purposes (it's kind of hard to find mixable NO track in that bpm-range). It's not in the mix for very long...
- true faith 2001 : philip steir re-order mix - What can I say? I love TF. This is a nice change from the typical 4-by-4 remixes, while still keeping the original feeling.
- true dub - Again, mostly for transition. I wanted to get a more "old-skool" feeling in time for the next track... But I like the original dub very much.
- bizarre love triangle : extended dance mix - This may be one of the easiest tracks in the world to mix in. Kind of predictable but hey, it was one of my first NO favs.
- don't do it - Here's a lost b-side. Wonderful melody and a nice nod to Kraftwerk. This tracks kind of sneaks into the mix and you'll say: "Wait a minute! What did just happen here?" :)
- fine time : r-maid - Ok, perhaps not the best transistion between previous and next tracks, but it was the only one I could find. It is also the first track I heard on the LP I discovered in the bin in my local store that day in 1989. When I first played it I thought "What the h*** is this crap?"
But later it helped me appreciate the more club-oriented music. - 1963 : joe t. vanelli light mix - I like arrangement of this track and it's time to get more clubby in the mix. One weird thing is that the drum starts on the 4th beat (instead of the typpical 1st). I had to extend the intro 2 bars to make the transition sound reasonable good... Although, it still sounds a little bit forced.
- world : brothers in rhythm mix - I've always enjoyed BiR and their remixes. This is a nice remix, a little bit darker than the other fav, Perfecto.
- regret : sabres slow'n'low mix - And here's the second of my top-3. How could I squeeze in this "slow" track here, you may ask? Well, I think it works kind of well actually...
- crystal : lee coombs remix - The last of my top-3 remixes. It's a tricky track to mix in, the intro is very long. Also, unfortunately I had to mix out at one of the better parts of the remix. Oh well...
- behind closed doors - Probably the most underrated b-side released by the group (if 1963 doesn't count). I've always liked to throw in non-club tracks every now and then. I love this track.
- confusion : koma & bones vocal mix - Thanks to these new remixes I have rediscovered Confusion. It works well after BCD too.
- true faith-94 : tall paul eschreamer dubbier - This may be the "Eschreamer Mix", I'm not sure. The track comes from the WB CDR recently discovered. I don't understand why people don't like this track, it has a wonderful driving and progressive bass-line. Also, I threw it in to get more people to listen to the megamix... :) You can also spot the "Eschreamer Dub" in there, it had a better ending...
- round & round : club mix - And to finish off with another great (albeit slightly dated) mix. I was a R&R-head back when...

), but there shouldn't be any problems. You could try to make the mp3 into a .wav, change the 3rd line in the file to:
FILE "retransmission.wav" WAVE
otherwise the burning program pads the track with zero-samples...
