Cheers Klumpy!! Too nice of you really.......I prefer it when you slag me off!!!
My other bands would also be The Boos, but for the same reason as you GK.
Existing bands I'd have to resort to are my second and third loves SAINT ETIENNE and STEREOLAB
Both damn fine. Both GODLIKE . (Sarah Cracknell is a true babe
....and I've kissed her once or twice - on the lips!!! - utter heaven, how could I ever wash my mouth again after that???!!!
)
And Stereolab because, they never let me down - always coming up with the goods. And their latest album
Sound-Dust is well and truly lush. Any other Stereolab admirers here?
You're welcome Martin...
Yes, Stereolab, anytime...
Can I say that Laetitia dedicated a song to me at 2 different belgian gigs. Once it was 'Anamorphose', the other time it was 'Super-Electric'. Of course, there was a good reason behind this...
And, by the way, to me 'Sound Dust' is their best album since 'Emperor Tomato Ketchup'.
I totally agree, Buster. They've never disappointed me with any of their albums but you're right: Sound-Dust, in a word, is LUSH! Fave song- "Naught More Terrific Than Man" - beautiful beautiful tune - up there with the best of Burt Bacharach (yes!! really!!), whilst the ending of "Nothing To Do With Me" - just has me in fits! This!
From Stereolab! (OK, I know, it was actually taken from Chris Morris's "Blue Jam" sketch) Utterly bonkers!!!
