EBAY RIP OFF MERCHANT ALERT !!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUY!!!

i got the get ready promo (different tracks) as i mentioned in a previuos post. THE ITEM IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF CDR! the item is listed as new order -get ready warner brothers promo cd. seller -gaz cook/gary cook address: it looks like this guy has been copying them for a while. DO NHOT BUY FROM HIM! it looks like there have been quite a few people stung by this guy for quite a bit of money. i wont tell you haw much i paid for the cd out of sheer embarrasment,i just want others to be aware thats all.! unless i get a complete refund this guy will be getting negative feedback,reported to ebay, warner chappel publishing and the federation against copyright theft. i dont buy much from ebay now ,but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth! DONT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got one off the twat too,to the tune of £21. Very disappointed with it. Claimed it had radically different mixes of songs-just run in different order on a cd-r.

Also bought one from someone else,only paid £6 and its a genuine London card case advance promo.

The difference in price & quality says it all.

There are some dodgy people on Ebay, but on the whole I am satisfied with the site.

That bastard ripped me off too. I got a refund eventually after threatening to give him crap feedback. He's selling live CD's of New Order now on ebay too. (also copies that don't look like what's been advertised)

Yeah, I remember that 'Warner Bros' Promo GET READY CD on ebay...that was only a week and a half ago, wasn't it? I did asked him about the catalouge number but he could not come up with one....frankly, I was still interested but the bidding went too high for me...phew, thank god I'd backed out ...THANKS FOR THE WARNING , ANYWAY.

I think you can contact PAYPAL or Ebay for your money back, especially for that amount you've paid.

We should stop thieves like these from operating on Ebay!!

There's another one on e-bay who keeps on selling New Order or Electronic remix albums - e-bay username is something like badboyblu... Guy must have made a fortune out of selling bootleg remix CDs...

he got in contact and offered me a refund i suggest you do the same to get your money back. he also said that he picked the cds up from arecord shop in manchester...... sound shit to me!!!!!!!!! i,ll send you his email address shortly. regards

Why not get a refund, and leave bad feedback anyway. If everyone threatens bad feedback to get a refund, no one at the site will be aware of his "dodginess".

thanks webmaster, i was going to remove his address anyway. i suppose it was rather childish of me but trhese things get out of hand as you know. the guy did offer a refund (to be completed shortly) annd has done eveything possible to rectify the situation so far (cheers gc! )
