there has been a poster of the hacienda doing the rounds, with a cut away view of it - kind of a draughstman plan.

anyone know if the original had a fac cat no?

can't find reference to it in the fac51 sections of the usual places...

I think Colin from Vinyl Revival has manufactured these, he's printed some of the early Fac posters at a fraction of the price the official Saville endorsed copies go for.

Regarding Paul Stolper acquiring Saville's domain name, it doesn't surprise me. The Warm company were in collabaration with Saville to design a site, that was first announced at the end of 2002. I know he's exacting and methodical, but I suspect, giving the lenght of time, he's giving up on the idea.

It's interesting to note when Showstudio (the site he instigated with Nick Knight) was about to go online. He had serious second thoughts about the project, and it was only Knight's dogged perseverance that pushed it through.

The warm company is a London based design partnership consisting of Derek Michael and Chris Raettig. They've worked with Saville on for example the graphic/audio piece 'Lilac' he did for Showstudio: http://www.showstudio.com/projects/027/027_start.html

I doubt Stolper will bother now that the Saville Graphic Design site is up and running. :)

Vinyl Revival don't have a website but you can contact Colin via the Fac list: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/faclist/
