was a 12" dj only bm 88
has dj remix on b side 8'17" long.
what's the sleeve look like, how many are there, is the remix drastically different etc?

Comes in a plain black sleeve with centre cut-out. The "DJ Only" mix is also referred to as "Blue Monday 88 Dub" and can be found here, on the CDV (where it is mislabelled as Beach Buggy) and on this US promo:
how rare is that US promo CD? i found one here in Buenos Aires but i didn´t pay much attention because it´s the 88 mix which i don´t particullary like. maybe i can still get it! ;)

Actually, I would say that it's rarer than one may think... It used to be really hard to find a copy. Of course, with eBay things have become easier - but it still requires some hunting...

Hell i never realized this.NEVER have used E-BAY but just used to buy the PROMOS before the release so i could have a listen.This one i paid about £4 for so wasn't dear at all.I wish i had bought all six copies he had.Bought from a CAR-BOOT in PRESTON and this guy still sells NEW ORDER on TUESDAY and THURSDAY so get down or up there when you can.Saw the guy last week and he had at least 30 NEW ORDER and related goodies.
