yuk yuk. Hence the "people like you/ find it easy/ always in tune" line.

Hmm, I thought it might be a meditation over a failed romance or maybe somebody's death (his own impending one, even though the song was written months before he did himself in). As for what he was trying to say specifically, that's really up to your own individual interpretation

Listen to Chance, Atmosphere's working title. I think it is here somewhere let me look...OK n o longer here but if Floyd's site was running you could get it there. Perhaps I could Zip it and email it to you. Or buy Heart and Soul.

Anywho...Lyrics are a tad bit different. Instrumentally shows more of JD's electronics including a possible keyboard part from or for LWTUA. Extra verse thingie "I'm crossing the line/trying to get back/back where I was." Another part was "It may happen soon/maybe you will care" after the hunting part.

Personally I think Hannet fooked it up, too over produced, too dramatic and that tingly thing. Chance has a rougher purer edge that makes Atmosphere sound plastic. Bands pay overrated producers for the sound that Chance has. People complain about Bernard singing it, I complain about official release.

Still I want someone to sing this and a drum to beat it as they wheel my coffin out of the church and into the hearse.
