Does anyone have the scoop on the following item?

It appears to be some promo-sampler from Latin-America or Spain. The tracklisting is the same as the 2nd Substance CD.

nothing written on it? maybe we could find out by knowing a couple of words. you know, the spanishs speak different than the latinamericans, who also speak differently from one country to the other. so anything could help really.

i´d say that is spanish though. i don´t know but....

ive never really understood why people pay so much for promos. bootlegs and mixes fine, but whats the point in paying £75 for a promo?

More information has emerged...

The front says "New Order Grandes Exitos Substance vol. 2" and "Versiones Remixes Discoteque"

Details on the CD says "(p) 1991 Una Produccion Musicavision Bajo Licencia Prodisc". Cat# CP 86028. The disc itself is made in Canada.

Googling Musicavision and/or Prodisc doesn't really turn up anything interesting. The questions is in what country Musicavision resides.

I never understood it either. The only promo I have is Smashing Pumpkins' "Heavy Metal Machine" on cassette, and I was handed out a copy at a concert, because I came there early. I think I've only played it about once.

Chile:

and the fact that is manufactured in Canada is not a crazy thing. in México and in Chile they used to manufacture the CDs in Canada. so you can find "spanic" editions done there. in fact a friend of mine has Technique made in Canada and with words in spanish, in a flat case.

i think we have a winner! ;)
