Why do I keep getting grief off everyone these days. I won't bother posting in future!

Why provoke the grief by posting a poll guaranteed to get a reaction ?
i like some of the current live-renditions of the song with the additional guitar-bits at the end. but for the rest... quite fed up with... preferring Love Vigilantes instead :bag:

There is nothing meaningless about a thread which gets the Marco LV treatment! ![]()
There is a poll forum you know...
By all means start a conversation about BM versions on here but starting polls like this one on the main forum = :topic:
Yeah, it's obvious the original is better (just like Confusion), though I'm happy someone elese likes the 1995 version (one of the best New Order remixes with Perfecto World), the 1988 wasn't bad either, it had a great rhythm section, but the melodic part was made too simplistic.

Why doesn't your web page work?
I like the 1983 version, but it's a bit too long, whereas the 1988 version is much tighter. Hard to say for me.
Original is great, as long as they don't play it live ever again.....
I love the Andrea Mix from 95 (the slowed down dub-ish one). There's nothing wrong with BM, it's just had too much exposure, like that lovely Bryan Adams' "Everything I Do".

I like the original, but the '88 version is actually pretty good. However, the '95 version makes me just want to :barf:
Mike, please explain WHY you don't like it:D, just curious.....(or ave we been here before
)

When a song is made for the first time it is how it was imagined-- the remakes seem to be for the sake of attracting the next waves of fans who become old enough to buy their own music, suitably adapted to reflect current trends![]()

:D But it's the song that the older but not 'past it' and teenies who have heard it since they were in nappies because their parents played it to death can relate to - and they are the people who dominate live gigs--you must have been there when the 15- or 55- year old next to you sings along! The Beatles and 'Stones are by your standard 'tired and overplayed' but they keep selling -however, it's the original stuff, not a periodically revamped version. My opinion stands, I think! :)
