Anyone know why the Blue Monday CDV seems to go for a higher price (significantly higher!) than the True Faith CDV? Seems odd considering you get an extremely rare track in Evil Dust on the TF one!?

Well, Evil Dust isn't that rare - it's probably appeared on about 10+ "Funky Alternatives"-type compilations throughout the years!
Also, True Faith never appeared on CD single back then, so it was more of an essential purchase, whereas Blue Monday did, so, presumably, a lot of people (like me!) never bothered to buy it at the time! In addition, isn't there an exclusive (apart from the US promo CD single) mix of Blue Monday 88 on there?

Yes. The Dub Version (aka. DJ Only Mix) is on there. The dub can also be found on CD on the US promo CD5 and the CA CD5.
In addition, the 7" Version is slightly different mix/edit compared to other known 7" mixes/edits, at least on CD. I couldn't tell you the diff though since I haven't listen to it in a while...

Okey dokey, the compilations that I know have Evil Dust on it (and, since I collate the A Guy Called Gerald discography, I happen to actually own most of these

There are probably more out there, but since Concrete Productions went bust (the original label that Funky Alternatives was released on), the songs seem to have been sold off to numerous record labels (e.g. Cleopatra, Dressed To Kill, Age Of Panik, New Millenium Communications, Mastersongs, etc).
So, it *shouldn't* be that difficult to pick up one of the above via Gemm/Netsounds/E-bay!

As Biznotic says, no and no - all originals, and all compilation CD's of the "Funky Alternatives" series, although a couple of them might also contain the exclusive mix of Revenge's "Slave" (previously found on "Funky Alternatives 5").

Interestingly on Windows Media Player 9 the tracklisting for the BM88 CDV comes up as The UK CD Video, but the TF CDV comes up as UK CD Single (but with the right tracklisting for the CDV)
