I of course realize everyone here may not fit in with N.O.. If not, some certainly would make things interesting on stage and in studio.

Farcical.

All of the above listed are at least moderately competent at their chosen instrument(s), and are therefore totally unsuitable to replace GG ! :evil4:

You have a point heh, regardless or track record ( Marr, Rocca), sheer talent (Cummings, Frusciante) or imagination (KEY, Williams) Gillian is intagibley irreplacable.

Chris Lowe

And why isn't Rodger O'Donnell of the Cure included? He's has some good keyboard lines on Disintegration and Bloodflowers.

I couldn't recall what his name was, also I had plenty of people who were similar and I wanted to have room for some "out there" artists to make it more interesting. Besides, the list was getting long enough really.

Rosie looks like a faith-healer there: "There's a woman in Michigan, she's got lung cancer, by the power of Jesus be healed!" :faint:

Actually, she looks like she forgot there wasn't any food in her hand and tried "taking a bite" through force of habit.

Back on topic, I still havent decided who I'd vote for.

You won't ever catch Rosie with the Cure. Didn't someone once say he looked a bit like Edward Scissorhands?

He might make an intersting addition to NO, if not on tour with the Cure. That keyboard in "Homesick" was pretty good, and none of it was sequenced.

I really don't see why they even need a replacement. Their best work was done in the six months as a three piece. They should put Steve back on vocals for IALP, bring back Homage & Mesh to the setlist and jettison all of that post-1980 crap that they've written.

That's a good point, they have been playing well as a trio. However, even in writing the songs, I was leaning toward what influence these artists could provide on their sound in the studio too.
