Nice to see that "our" bands can help people through difficult situations. NO kept me sane through my college years when I was stressed (and consequently down) all the time.
BTW, Slippy, come on Yahoo for a bit!
Hm. I'm not comfortable with the concept of 'This helped me, BUY IT' --I don't know what to think about the possibility of profiting from a loved one's death. Is this real or a sick marketing thing?

It's just a list, Amazon has tons of 'em (and I've done about 12 of 'em). It's more just recommendations than "buy this!" I don't think reviewers/list-makers get any profit from this (if they do, I need to know about it!)

You mean you'd get a percent if someone buys something based on your review? 
I've seen a couple of your lists, pretty good stuff. I wrote one for The Triffids album Born Sandy Devotional that they didn't use, probably cause I mentioned that using the web to find hard to find, out of print stuff is a good way to go.

I'm about 1,129 on the list of reviewers, so I must be doing something right in terms of my recommendations and/or lists.
Anyway, back to the main topic: I think JD would be good for helping you get through the death of someone special, but balance it out with something more upbeat after a while (remember them as they were, unless they were a depressing old sod. That's when you break out the Cure :p ). And I don't think the list was in bad taste at all.
