multi-song segues

A bit of boring live trivia for those too excited to comment further about what would happen had Ian not died or if Phil Cunningham's worth or not to join the Order.

I've tracked down at least four gigs that feature 3 songs segued into one another...I've figured that these would have had to be determined ahead of time, and while the "Prime 586" variations aren't surprising, and the previous song has been known to blend into the ghostly opening synths of Sunrise, there's definitely some surprises...

22 June 1982 Rollingstone - Milan 586 -> Temptation -> EGG

11 Sep 1982 Futurama Four - Deeside Leisure Centre, Wales Chosen Time -> IALP -> EGG

16 Aug 1984 City Hall Hull EGG -> 586 -> Temptation

12 Aug 1985 McAllister Auditorium Face Up -> Age Of Consent -> Sunrise

Segues to me are the hallmark of a superb gig, and Milan and Hull definitely rank up there.

Indeed it should. Added to the new-order.net link. Somehow I missed this when compiling my list, though this is one I have a writeup for. Another cracking gig, that one...debut of Face Up, Blue Monday introduced as "99 Red Balloons", as well as the "Very Last Pop Tune Of The 1980's"...

bradford was great, we got a 10min drums only intro to 586 as they couldn't get one of the synths working.
