Hello

I am currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Social Research at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, looking at popular music fandom, and I need your help!!!

I am specifically wanting the views of fans of 'Manchester bands', and I am looking for New Order fans who would be willing to participate in an online interview, talking about their fandom.

I want to stress that this project is not just of academic interest, it should also be of general interest to fans, like myself, who love New Orders music.

Hi all!!!

Thanks very much to everyone who has offered to help me out so far!! You have all been brilliant and I will be in touch soon. I am genuinely overwhelmed at the response!!!

The interviews will involve me forwarding some questions by email to participants for them to answer in their own words and at their own convenience. The questions will be around your music fandom generally, and New Order fandom specifically (nothing to painful!!!)and there may also be some follow up questions. This will all be 100% confidential and anonymous.

It is true that I have not posted messages here previously but I am a big New Order fan and do visit here, when I get time, to catch up on what is happening!!!
