Hi all,

Just seen this in the weekly Popbitch email - anyone know any further details, if it's true?

"A tribute gig for Rob Gretton, New Order's genius producer is being lined up in Manchester. Gretton died five years ago in May. New Order and The Doves, who he also produced, are likely to perform." :confused2:

Nice thought. Alas, doesn't seem to be a shred of evidence to support it.

I've heard from a reliable source that this will be going ahead but without new order.

I dont see how any other band could have been more involved with him than new order.

sounds too good to be true. popbitch is usually 50% bullshit. i like that george michael / robbie williams story. :evil4:
