As we all know, Blue Monday has closed each and every gig in the UK, and now in Paris (well, every gig bar 2mins of Dreams Never End on the last Brixton night).

But ... what song has then followed, on the PA, once the band have cleared the stage and the houselights are up?!

You're right, it was the same track both nights (talking of Paris). But I don't know it..

BTW, did you notice we got "VIVA SALFORD" on Hooky's woofers this time?

Another question to throw at you lot who have seen a show on this current tour :

Who is the slighlt overweight man who introduces New Order each night?

I'm sure it is Alan Erasmus, but I could be wrong.

Alan Erasmus is black!

It's Alan Wise, former manager and [ahem] lover of Nico. God, can you imagine that!!

Sort of on topic: Did New Order decide to play Underworld after their sets on the Area One tour? I always thought Underworld were an extension of New Order and hearing Dubnobasswithmyheadman being played (before or after or both...fuzzy memories) made sense to me. Why haven't Underworld given New Order a makeover? I think a song like vicious streak would sound excellent in a mellow underworld extension.

So i suppose they didn't play Underworld at the Paris show. Post more photo's please and let us know the answer.

The answer was ... "Release The Pressure" by Leftfield.

Strange you say that, I'd always thought if Curtis hadn't topped himself, Underworld is very much like what JD might have sounded like
