The perfect NO child - another wacky thread

Well, it seems like I haven't posted a wacky thread for quite some time now.

So, should you have a child and be alble to make him the perfect NO offspring, how would he or she look like.

For instance, you might not give him Gillian's nose. Then again...

I think just a Gillian's nose would be quite good... a little beak running around the kitchen floor sniffing for rats.

Perhaps we could have Hooky's arm suckling milk from a woman's teat.

and the kid would definitely have to have Hoooky's old mullet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Considering Steven Morris and Gillian Gilbert's daughter for a moment, am I alone in thinking that this thread is in very poor taste?

I understand your concern, Old Blue and I apologize.

And, I didn't think of it in that way at all while putting this thread.

Never was it intended as a reference to Gillian & Stephen's daughter.

And, I don't really see those 2 subjects related, in fact.

I'd like to know : do others feel offended by this thread ?

Nope

I had the same thought, but knowing you were way far from making any connection to S&G child in this thread, I did not write it down.

And therefore I am not offended either.

Thank you, I really feel reassured ...

I think suggesting this thread was meant to be in poor taste is offensive.

Rest assured Busty nothing you say is remotely offensive, or in bad taste... except when you disagree with me.

I think old blue monday needs to have a coffee and a cigar.

Thank you, my good friend.

I felt really horrified at the thought of this confusion.

There wasn't any... the only confusion was released in 1983 on 12" vinyl to critical acclaim.

I am not realy offended by your post, buster, but i can understand old blue's point of vieuw. As for myself, i already have three kids (3,8 and 10 years old). To minimize the damage done by the likes of MTV, who poison their little minds with sick music, i only play New Order whenever the kids are at my place (divorced you see). And would you believe they are actually dancing on it. They realy do like Get Ready, so you can imagine that makes me a proud father! I also hope my son will be as great a dancer as good old barney! And as for my two daughters, well i hope one day they'll bring back home a guy with the same nice looks and attitude as Hooky!:):)

Very moving post, Mario, really.

Well, this could turn into a spin-off of "What if Celebrities Mated?", the Conan O'Brien stadnby that features usually gruesome offspring from celebrities said to be dating at the time. If that's the case, well, imagine a child who had Barney's hairstule up top, with a little Hooky Mullet thrown in for good measure. Then add Steven's chin, Barney's lips, and Gillian's nose, with Hooky's beard....

Buster

Allow me to step down from my high horse and eat humble pie. You inadvertantly struck my rawest nerve with this thread, but my aggressive response was completely inappropriate and uncalled for.

I made you feel guilty, and that is inexcusable. I'm not here to make enemies and I apologise unreservedly.

That's quite a cool thing to say old bluey... poor Buster was distraught at the very thought he might have offended anyone... he'll have nightmares tonight about lizards.

That's okay, Old Blue. And anyway, I wouldn't have considered you an enemy because of this.

In fact, I had a discussion, some time ago, with Patrick about a thread I created he didn't feel comfortable about (which NO song to be played at your funeral).

But it's true I didn't want to be misunderstood. I really care for those people and I confess having a soft spot for 'The Other Two' and can only feel sympathy with them for what happened.

Thank you anyway, Old Blue, for taking the time to write this warm post...

Rooster Booster are you saying our comrade Patty objected to another post of yours?... did old Pat become outspoken on a particular matter. Is he the star of 'My Two Dads?'

You know Klumpy, that was so long ago, I'd forgotten it was you. I hope I didn't say anything offensive.

Virtually simultaneous posts, Huntsy. What does that mean?

Nothing offensive, Patrick, no. Just a healthy conversation.

Incredible... its 10:48pm at the Huntsmate house and I'm talking to my two pals... your right Pastie lover... its quite a coincidental matter.

I think about you quite a lot Pat in a brotherly love kind of way, as I do Booster... does this mean we are inextricably linked in some way and in heaven we'll all meet up and half that beer I've always promised myself whilst we watch the sun go down and hit Klumpy on the top of his crown?

:hat:

... I do hope so.

That's a nice vision, Huntsy. I confess you occupy a larger part of my thoughts than I would ever have thought possible in this kind of situation.

Klumpy, I remember I did feel quite strongly that I didn't care for that subject (what NO song to be played at your funeral).

Well, I hope so too, Huntsmate.

I'm really touched by what you said and I could tell you back the same (I wonder if this sentence construction that looks quite bizarre will make you laugh...).

I love you guys, in a brotherly kind of way indeed.

Well, Klumpy, I seem to have offended Huntsy in another thread and now he's disappeared.

No Patty... not yet... I was writing this, which should explain things...

Rooster you make me laugh mostly when you don't mean it. Its when your trying to be sensible and constructive that I find most amusing... as if your really trying hard to keep the gang together and some of your words just come out backside first.

What I do find comical is the fact that the French room is moderated by a guy called... 'Buster Klumpy'!

:hat:

Actually when I think about it its probably more palettable than Geoffrey Klompkes (did I get that right?).

Oh no, I'm outta here... me birds shouting me to stop tapping!!!!! - talk to you tomorrow me old fellas and Patty... you'd be surprised how much you occupy my thoughts which, as you rightly remark.. surely isn't right given the environment?... maybe minds cut through in strange and often oft-ignored and even never conceived ways? (there's always hope)

Well, I guess it's something like this, indeed. It's funny cos I'm quite anal retentive about french, the way it's written and spoken (I don't mean that for the non french speaking persons of course) and finding myself write in funny ways in English is quite ironical.

And you got my name right, except it's Geoffroy and not Geoffrey.

Good night guys.

I notice you didn't deny that I'd offended you, Huntsy.
