hey everyone

god i've not left a post for ages

i've just been out and had some drinks and i'm listening to temptation '86. what NO/JD song do you lot listen to when you're drunk / bit tipsy / high?

I usually drink when I go out, so I don't hear New Order very often, apart from the odd Blue Monday or LWTUA at the indie disco... I guess I'd like to hear Fine Time because it fucks your head pretty well.. the Confusion remix on CD2 of Substance too (the electro bit in the middle is really psychedelic). And of course World In Motion, the official song for drunk hooligans at the pub... :D

This one actually took some thought...given the fact I don't always remember which NO song I like drunk...

Anyway drunkeness, having a different effect than being stoned in that adrenal glands run free I would say "60 MPH" for an individual song however...

The entire Republic album to me is great for when I'm at the lake, on the deck with an icebox loaded with Coronas and chopped limes. Great stuff to get a buzz to in that situation.

Having been drunk once or twice myself, I find it amazing people can name just one choice, when I get in pished, with our without friends / girlfriends, I can never decide on just one CD, I usually grab 2 or 3.

When I'm pissed, it doesn't matter to me what New Order songs are on, just as long as it's neworder :beer:

Since I usually get drunk when I'm out, I listen to whatever they play there which is either Crystal, 60 miles an hour, DNE, BM, LWTUA or SLC...
