i wonder if Hooky will show a new track here too. if i were you, my beloved London fellas, i´d pay the 5 pounds and find out for myself! ![]()
Why is Hooky always DJing and such, is he just being lazy working on the LP, or is it already done? (or even a couple of tasty singles)
We can only hope they'll spring em on us when we least expect it ![]()

You don't expect him to work 24/7 on the new album, do you? ![]()
I will endeavour to get to this. Whats the chance of getting a small tape recorder in there?
Last time I went to Turnmills was to Trade I think years ago! (BTW I am not gay!)

Me thinks you doth protest too much Slippy!
Actually, no, I've been to Trade too. Quality night in its day. Just not many birdz there.
I don't these Thursdays nights are in the bowels of Turnmills - just the bar upstairs. So it's fairly 'intimate'. Easy getting a tape recorder in (once again, I have visions of you stood next to the speakers all night going 'ssshhh' to anyone trying to engage you in conversation).
Hooky's a small lad though - perhaps we could do him over for his CDRs?!
What if you mug him when he heads for a piss and get Gilesy to don a hoodie, get up behind the decks, spin some of his discs and swipe the new track CD-R? He's basically a Hooky doppelganger, no one would know the difference.
Erm.. Until about two tracks in and JG's got the records scratching and jumping all over the place but by then you could be halfway to the tube.
We'd all pay good coin for a burn of the CD-R and hell, you could sell the original to worldinmotion for a vast sum.
:\pimp3:

Now why didn't I think of that ![]()
The game would be up when I'd line the next track

Ryder get's his fee whether you show up or not. Why not go to perhaps hear a new New Order tune? You'd get to tell Ryder to his face he's a waste of oxygen.

Yes mate, be good to see how married life's treating you ;)
Al, is this when you're in Vegas?
Don't reckon we'll see them doing much technical stuff, they'll have someone else doing all that. Their names above the door, that's all the promoter wants.
I'm not convinced Hooky will bring any new NO material like he did in Brighton. Cats outta the bag now. Even the risk of an audience recording finding it's way onto ebay would be too much. Al Jarvis had a CDR of Get Ready [month before the official release] in his bag when we bumped into Barney at an airport, mentioned this in polite conversation and to say Barney's face dropped would be an understatement. Suppose a whole album's a bigger deal than 1 track, but still don't think the singer would be amused if Hooky let slip.
Whaddya reckon?

No, I'm around for this and Bartos. Go to Vegas on the 20th back in time for the play-off finals
(er, I wish).
