Joy Division New Order Collection, a very rare JP promo-only compilation. Right now it's 20UKP, but the reserved price is not met yet...

Go ahead and take it. It's not called stealing, it's called recycling. We don't want to waste unnecessary electrons, do we? After all, it's not like you haven't "borrowed" a lot of info from there before, including various "Release Notes"...

I actually think I made that scan. IIRC, I got my copy for about 60-70USD - still sealed.

BTW: The discography on this site now displays the thumbnails for the category-listing nicely in Opera. Though, the individual item-pages still show the big picture and not a thumbnail...

This was auctioned last week and went for about £20. I have a feeling this is the same copy, being re-sold by that winner. :nonono:

Didn't reach the reserve price of 50+quid.

I'm a little surprised it went for 20 a week ago.

Not too common.

TLV how many of these promos were released? If its only 100 as WIM used to say, they seem to be coming up for sale too frequently, some pirate cashing in.

The reserve on this item was UKP100. The seller claims he purchased it for UKP130 last Christmas.

I only found it then by accident, the listing was for JD only, not new order otherwise like you say,it wouldve reached more. Ive seen it before with black sleeve with blue/grey lettering. I might even have a pic of it somewhere.

I'm not sure how many was made. All I know is that these kind of JP promos are (often) extremely rare.

I haven't been following eBay too closely the last couple of month, but I usually have my finger on the pulse of the collectible market. I haven't seen this "flood" of copies on the market. During the last 10 years I may have seen it for sale 3-4 times.

Any sleeve-variation (black etc.) is probably a bootleg, though I haven't seen bootlegs of these kind of items before...

Well, auctions allow you to find bargins (sometimes)...
