I am trying to find tracks for a compilation of all the early rave / dance stuff I was into back in the day:lol: So far I have stuff like:

Out Of Space & Wind It Up PRODIGY Temple of Dreams MESSIAH Insanity OCEANIC Injected With a Poison PRAGA KHAN The Bouncer KICKS LIKE A MULE Papa New Guinea.......

so basically it's 91/92 (the same era as the Top Buzz 4 Carl Cox 5 tapes) anyone suggest other classics from this period? I used to have loads of stuff - but lost about 100 12"s a few years back (long story)

Papua New Guinea must be one of my most played records of all time - used to live with two mates in me early 20's and it was the soundtrack to our Saturdays, rolling in from somewhere early morn' then right up to going out again in the evening. Just that one track over and over and over again. A true classic in all its variations.

There's a recent link HERE, Shug, or some early NOOLer thoughts HERE

 Cheers me ole bucket of spanners - I will go investigate now. It was actually Baldrick who asked if I still had all the old rave records - he wants a good compilation for the car. I must have lost about £500 worth of 12" records and most of them were my wee cousin Paddy's.....he was not best pleased if I remember correctly!

Try to track down the early Techno Trax compilations, with classics like:

Altern8 - Infiltrate 202 T99 - Anasthasia Klangwerk - Die Kybernauten

And don't forget the all time classic: Chimo Bayo - Ai Si Me Gusta A Mi. Ahhh, remember those summer nights... :D

There are loads of stuff I am after - but a lot of it I either cannae remember the name of the DJ/Band or the Song Title, it's years since I've listened to these, and I had to download them all from one of those dodgy music nabbing sites. This CD is basically memories from being 16/17 year old andloads of mad trips:D If anyone can help, there are two tapes I am after....Carl Cox 4 and Top Buzz 5, I am sure they were both recorded at the Eclipse and NOT Fantazia:thumb:

Mail me your address and I will send you the 3 volumes of Tom Wilson's Bouncin Beats. Might be some some stuff on them you don't have. I have been weeding through my CD collection and I bought these when I briefly dipped into this sort of stuff in the early 90's (well it was Republic era NO)and your welcome to keep them.

BTW, that dude Tom Wilson died a few weeks ago - he was a bit of a champion of the 'scene' up here in Scotlando, a few years back.

It was pretty popular here... at least chart wise it got into the top 5 and never buggered off! ;) Shame I was too young for clubbing back then because the music's crap now

Got the CD's yesterday - flicked through them last night. Danke Bien matey, a couple of crackers in between some of the dodgier stuff:) Forgot all about Hardcore Uproar! And I love Terrorize's JustA Feeling. Anything Order / Madchester related you'd like in return just gies a shout:thumb:

Now I am after early Carl Cox, Grooverider, LTJ Bukem, Top Buzz CD's - if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Alternatively Fantazia / Eclipse concerts from 92/93.
