I'm not going. I don't live on the mainland and I've got no chance of getting over there for it. Shame. :(

Hopefully yes. Depends on whether I am giving a presentation to a farming group 200 miles away or not.

should be great NOT, watching someone play records, stay at home and do it yourself, it's easy

If I could go, I'd fucking do it. It's not everyday you get to meet Hooky, after all. Besides, chances are good he'll re-debut (oxymoron alert!) that allegedly new track. Well worth my money.

You're missing the point a bit Mike. The good bit about the event is getting everyone together under the same roof, all these people who contribute daily on here. Same as a New Order gig itself in that respect, and this is as close as we will get to that in the near future ! It's all about the social aspect.

I am hoping to! Best someone else brings a recorder too though! I may be too pissed and miss the track! :D

I hope nobody would. Without Bernard, it's not New Order, nothing to listen to. Expect plain bass exercises.

Er, I thought the reports said Barney was clearing singing on the track in Brighton, no?!

Was it just an instrumental?

I think the Texan longhorn has misunderstood what this Hooky DJ sesh is.....

my understanding (based entirely on what people wrote on here) was that the new track has vocals, done as usual by Bernard.

Would if I could but I can't so I won't. Wouldn't fly cross the pond just for that, but if I was over there, I would be there.......

Okay the British, get that track. Now I'm much more excited. Could it be another Crystal-like masterpiece?
