Hello I'm new to this forum but have been a New Order fan since the mid-80s. A quick question, does anyone know how rare the CD single Promo of Until The End Of Time by Electronic is? Thanks

A great little item if you mean the 4 track YELLOW COVER CD.I think there are not too many about because at the time of it's emergence several tracks were muted to be released then weren't.Although i collect ALL ELECTRONIC tracks and PROMOS i only came across this by accident.Bought it for £3 only though so i didn't think it was at all rare at the time.I am sure you will get a PROPER answer here but just thought i would welcome you and BORE you to death with a ROCKET MICK ANECDOTE,most NOOl's ignore me now!![]()
Yes the one with the yellow cover. I only managed to get it recently(it was the only Electronic CD I didn't have!). Thanks![]()
You are lucky, it's rare to find, I wouldn't even know where to start (I don't have it unfortunately), wasn't it something for fanclub only (posting so I can read what Mick wrote!)
Yes, it's god damn rare...
...Apparently, you could get hold of it if you sent that card that came with Twisted Tenderness (you know the one, "If you would like more information on this band, fill in your name and address, and we'll send you a postcard just before there's a new release coming out")!
I did this, but didn't get any offer about the single... ![]()
The last one I saw for sale on e-bay went for over a hundred quid, and that was sometime ago... ![]()
So, I've settled for the 12", so far (which, incidentally, does have exactly the same tracks on it)!
l8rs,
Nick ;)
