Yeah, i just bought the two CD-Singles of "Crystal". Hell, "Behind Closed Doors" is an incredible track...i'm speechless. Great vocals, incredible drum work, Hooky all through the song, wow !!! When i read the NME article about the album review, could it be that "Behind Closed Doors" is actually "Sabotage" ??? Well, I'm not a fan of remixes either, so the second disc is more for completists...like me ;-)

By the way, i cannot open the link for the Cologne newspaper review and the GetReady review!!! Any help ???

Cheers Marco

Yeah,I managed to stumble out of bed and tootle on down to my nearest music emporium to purchase all 3 cd singles.Bit annoyed that there's no 12" vinyl, but suppose that's progress.Funny thing was that after my mammoth purchase(£7.50) , I went into W.H.Smiths to read all the N.O. articles in various mags ,and then over the intercom they were playing "Crystal"!! Bloody marvelous!! BTW, "Behind closed doors" is top track, but the DVD footage is far too short.

Just to add to my above post,I've been listening to "Behind closed doors" non stop, and have really grown to like it.Best line has to be "...I check upon the scores,I listen to The Corrs,Behind closed doors." I could tell you some things that I get up to behind closed doors, but I'm sure you're not interested!!

Me again.Somethings buggin me about the DVD footage. It says on the case that Temptation was filmed for the 2002 Commonwealth Games(Manchester bid).I was expecting the footage that the BBC broadcast live from outside Manchester town hall, not a clip from the 316 DVD. I'm probably wrong on this, but I do have the BBC footage.N.O. played Temptation then Blue Monday, interspersed with visuals of the great sporting facilities in Manchester . lol.

Yeah, now it's me again ;-) I really do like "Behind Closed Doors" ! It's somehow different, a different style of singing , cool drum programming and a nice atmosphere. Do i need to buy the DVD-version ??? I have both single CD's as well as the 316 DVD. So just for some dull remixes, is it worth it ??? Bye the way i don't know if the DVD has been released in Germany yet, couldn't find it yesterday...

cheers

Both songs are superb...completely unlike any other band doing the rounds at the moment. Quite partial to the remixes as well, particuarly Lee Coombs' version, the fact he has left in Hooky's bass as well Bernards vocals shows how he respects the original. Sounds even better in a club obviously

Behind Closed Doors really is fucking excellent! I wish they would have played this at the show in LA! It reminds of Joy Division for some reason..

sounds like the fold out cards we had given out in liverpool 18/7, 6 fold out pictures from GET READY artwork with the red stripe on the back. good ol pete has done it again, i also liked the fact that the cover of the single didnt have content details on it, just like the old days.

And how come did you receive that?

I think I must be on a mailing list of some sort.Probably gave my full address to the "newordergetready" website or something. The post code on the envelope was marked "Leamington Spa",which I think is where the promo company for London Records/Polygram is based. It now sits proudly on the tv. Apologies if I've bored you to death with this posting!!

Yeah, I also got the card through the post this morning - probably because I've either sent out way too many of those cards you get with new cd's and/or I've also registered with the Trinity Street website (who sent me an e-mail stating that Crystal was out, together with a picture of the cover)...

And I'd just bought one on e-bay too, which came through on the same post ;->

l8rs,

Nick ;)
