I wonder if the alternate lyrics are just Barney without tele prompter, or they are meant to be this way... :confused2:

As the vice president of RTS fan club I say the Album version.

I like both versions, but I fine the sessons version a little raw sounding. Steve did a good job mixing the song on the cd.

What's the obsession with Rock the bloody Shack? Dull, dull, dull, dull, dull.

I prefer neither. 'Rock The Shack' is a piece of stale crap, proving that N.O need Gillian Gilbert back a lot more than they need some mop-headed, 1960`s-obsessed gobshite from Primal Screem.

i keep forgetting to actually listen to the Sessions version of "Rock the Shack" all the way thru (the first 5 traxs totally blow away the last 4 anyway), "RTS" is such a boring song for such a suppossed "back to basics rock out in the garage" ... the Sessions version seems a little better at first, but then seems to go on forever and ever... .... so i can't decide, except that "Rock the Shack" shows that Barney shouldn't be trying to write Stoogy style rock jams during his current mid-life crisis

Amen. Rock The Shack is the biggest bag of monkey toss that the band have done in their career I reckon. :nonono: At a push I prefer the Radio 1 Sessions version. I really hope New Order aren't going to become some Rolling Stones clones! :\ohwell:
