I've just heard a track by Bobby Olando called Confusion. It contains the confusion chant from the NO classic. It's sort of stripped down electronic disco.

I know that Bobby Orlando was a favourite of Barney's at the time and I think it is from the early 80's: does anyone know which version came first?

New Order's came first. Bobby Orlando recorded Confusion in 1985 on "Bobby O : His Banana Republic" as a homage to New Order. He also produced Divine's "Love Reaction" which sounded a little similar to another New Order track around the same time !!

Isn't this Mr. Orlando the guy from an old mix of "West End Girls"?

Thought Love Reaction was a good rip of Blue Monday, till Divine came on the record :dead:

Heard the Bobby Orlando PSB demos, glad they decided to re-record West End Girls with Stephen Hague.
