I just got an email from insound.com with this news. Is this official?

JOY DIVISION 'Here Are the Young Men and Substance' (unknown) Joy Division fans, your ship hath come in. This double-DVD contains the never-before-on-DVD 'Here Are The Young Men' video, an hour-long Euro 'Wired' TV special with interviews, plus all other known footage of the band. In 'Here Are the Young Men,' Joy Division performs 'Digital,' 'Colony,' 'Love Will Tear Us Apart,' 'Day of the Lords,' 'Transmission,' 'She's Lost Control,' and others. The 'Substance' video includes 'Shadowplay,' 'Leaders of Men,' 'Dead Souls,' and more.

I'm sure we'd have heard of it... looks more like a well-packaged bootleg to me. Did you notice that there's also no Catalugue number given and the label is quoted as: 'Unknown'.

Just had a look,and guess what? ITS FUCKIN TRUE! They`ve got a sleeve on there as well as a tracklist. Here Are The Young Men,Wired (60mins) PLUS ALL the vids. Happy fucking days.

Yes, I had a look too, but one copy only, plus what I previously said. No news from New Order official sites, London Records, Waterrat, etc. I still say bootleg...

Although New Order are planning some DVD releases... but we would have known, so I'd be careful.

there's a guy who's sold a few of these recently, I think bootleg...maybe a well made one but unofficial all the same.

IT'S A FOOWKING BOOWTLEG.

I have both of these from a source who will remain nameless, incredible sound my foowking arse. BUT it is good to have them both on DVD I suppose. I will do a definitive collection on DVD when I eventually buy myself a DVD Recorder. This is probably best served to people outside the UK who havnae seen some of the stuff. As for Wired, it's a 20 minute Documentary, the one that was aired on BBC2 (or was it C4???) in 1988 for the release of Substance. The only thing I hadn't been able to get me hands on in the past was the LIVE take of LWTUA for the video shot in the warehoose. There are loads of JD DVD's floating about on Ebay so I'm told, but I wouldn't pay more than a tenner for bootleg stuff.
